About Dr. Asha Prasad, Creator of The Prasad Method™
My journey in Chiropractic medicine and holistic healing began with me. I too, have lived and experienced the impact these therapies generated in my own life, having felt despair at times when things seemed to be completely overwhelming. I learned to shift my own perspectives to live a more creative, uplifting and inspired life. I began to detail what was working using my background and holistic practice, and developed my own, unique method of treatment that is holistic, natural and proven effective!
The techniques that I use are ancient, but very relevant in today’s modern society. I help you learn how to tap into your body at a deeper level and receive more access to the subtle energetic system of our body that was discovered thousands of years ago. Accessing your body at a deeper level creates more optimism and connectedness with your surroundings and relationships.
“What makes me different is my ability to get to the core of the issue very quickly and be able to create a safe space for people to share.”
The Prasad Method™ is a method that helps you learn how to access more of yourself. It will allow you to become more inspired, creative and energetic in your life. It helps melt stress away and gain awareness of how you can shift your perspective in any situation to help you become more productive, present and joyful in your life and relationships.
Let me just be clear— I’m not into ‘woo woo’ stuff and I am guessing you aren’t either. I believe that our modern culture has been largely cut off from essential spiritual principles that, when activated in your life, change everything… and I mean everything— in a wonderful, even magical way.
I know what it is like to grow up with outer success but feel empty on the inside.
I know what it is like to grow up with diversity and challenges.
I know what it feels like to dim your own light from within to fit in most of the time.
I grew up with a strong Eastern background in a western culture. This was constantly a source of conflict, which has impacted me in so many ways. Learning how to take opposites and integrate them, weave them together to create unification and a blending of philosophies and ways of life became a mode of survival. There was a tremendous amount of emotional pain of not being or feeling like I fit in with either group. It was difficult to learn to connect to my surroundings. I was well rooted with eastern philosophies and ways of life but constantly adapting to the western society.
This ability to weave things together allowed me to challenge myself to a constant state of growth and transformation.
I grew up very shy and reserved with not much to say. I was an observer and was fascinated about how things were interconnected. I later grew out of my shell as I began to find the things that I could excel and succeed in. I found in academics, a coping mechanisms to try to fit in. Being focused on outward success even at a young age was a theme that I would later learn was a way of ignoring the inner calling. As I went off to University I became rebellious and denied my roots and got away from my eastern practices; the practices that allowed for total grounding and connecting with my higher self.
I felt the pain of disconnection, feeling lost, stressed out, out of balance and I knew something was missing.
After university, I was drawn to the field of Chiropractic mainly because of the self-regulating/healing philosophy of the body’s power. It really fascinated me and made total sense that when everything is in balance and working together, integrated full vital expression is possible. Not only possible, but it is our given right! This led me slowly to get back to my own Eastern philosophical roots and start to connect from deep within, filling that void and pain that was present.
After being in practice for a few years I was enjoying helping others see this intrinsic innate ability to heal. I found a lot of success helping others recover and heal from chronic headaches, insomnia, aches and pains. By integrating different techniques and philosophies I began to see major transformations for my patients and clients in their lives other than on the physical level. It was through my own trials and tribulations and life lessons of my own and applying new methods mixed in with ancient wisdom that I was beginning to see miraculous results. I began to also realize that consistency and consciously living in every area of your life in perfect alignment for yourself causes inner richness. This inner richness coupled with outer success was not only possible, but automatic. I attended many courses, seminars, completed certifications and traveled to many corners of the world to further and deepen my studies and be able to help the people that I worked with.
Then, a few years later – more pain. My mother (who I was extremely close with) was diagnosed with a terminal illness. This was heart wrenching for me and it led to another deep low in my life. The last months of my mother’s life would forever change me. As end of life was approaching, she gained some pristine clarity and wisdom that she imparted on me that totally changed my perspective about my view on life, healing, health and “our purpose”. After I lost my mother, I lost a few other loved ones shortly thereafter, began another deep journey of self-discovery, self-healing and awareness.
The search for the bigger questions about life were starting to come from within. I was peeling back layer after layer of myself.
It was through this painful process of letting go that I shed off this protective shell around me, the façade that I claimed to be the true me.
I took a leap of faith and moved 6,000 miles away from home, learned a brand-new language, to once again learn how to adapt, integrate, deepen and explore. I realized that through these experiences I have developed a unique way to help others integrate their physical, mental, emotional and e selves to promote true healing from within. It was at this time that the Prasad Method™ was created.
Outer success can match the true inner self.
The methodology began a way of living. I am so grateful that I get to do such amazing, transformational work in the world. I can now see that even though following my purpose hasn’t always been easy, it’s been more than worth it. I work with exceptional, high achieving people all over the world and help them in a very special, profound way that they often cannot access through any other means.
I’ve discovered that my gifts lie in taking esoteric principles and making them accessible to modern people who truly are looking for more in life than the standard definition of success. I have dedicated my life to spirituality and personal development and can safely say that what I offer leads to a unique experience that is both highly practical and deeply profound.
I am beyond excited to help you activate these ancient principles using the Prasad Method™.
Here’s to you,
